Madison Joy LeFever is a director, playwright, performer, composer and lyricist. In December of 2023, she graduated with her BA in Theatre Production from Western Washington University. She ended her college career as an Irene Ryan nominee for her performance as Constance in Richmond & Maxwell’s Ride The Cyclone, directed by Ericka Mac. She spent a majority of her studies assistant directing alongside WWU proffesors and guest directors from across the nation. She regionally produced Untethered, a musical she composed alonside 3 other creatives, at the Region 7 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Inspired by her own creative stamina, she was compelled to write about historical femme composers and their struggles in navigating creative pursuits. Currently, she is completing her first full length play titled Enough. Inspired by the hidden histories of real-life femme composers, Enough asks: what does it mean to claim space in a world that’s built to keep you small? Madison is currently in her hermit era, tucked away and honing her craft — writing and dreaming up what’s next.
